I’ve recently gotten into making youtube videos, like fan videos for movies and fandoms as such. What’s the best, free program to use? Please don’t say Windows Movie Maker, and I have AVS, but I only have the trail version and that annoying red text is in the middle of the screen.

So are some good, free programs I could use?

My dad is turning 60 and I would like to make a picture slideshow of his life with music and some graphics and animation. I have the programs windows movie maker, microsoft power point and windows media center. Would any of these programs work? If not, is there a better program out there to use that I can get on the web? Any tips on doing it?

I have many movies here which I downloaded at 700mb in mkv files. Then I converted them to wmv, which is the format I wanted and they ended up being changed to around 4gb. Now I want to compress them to around 700mb but Windows Movie Maker 2.6 keeps crashing half way through the publishing. So I’d like a different program to do this.

I really want the code for the side by side effect (not transition) for windows movie maker xp. (1.0) I have the transition one but I really want the effect one if it’s possible. I know how to do everything I just can’t find the code. If you do have any other cool effect codes please tell what they are and post them here if u want to. It would be great if you will. Remember: XP.

I want an easy 2 use program that when I burn it to a cd it will play on a tv. I want similar features as Windows Movie Maker like the titles & transitions. If you know of any that I can download for free or use on the internet please let me know. Thank you!
