got a laptop, some equipment, now all i lack is the program. does any one know a LEGIT program to download, that is somewhat similar to Garage band thats for a regular PC?

The activation codes are very hard to read, but I enter the code in all the ways possible. It is saying I have the wrong code, but I bought the game new in it’s package and everything. I haven’t installed it on another computer, but I tried once on my laptop (it’s a piece of junk) and it didn’t work, but I thought it was my laptop’s problem. Do I have to contact the company?
