Can I ship from a different zip code than on the shipping label?

Ok, I am new to eBay and I just used the Print a Shipping Label option after you have sold an item. After I printed my label, I saw that at the top of the label it said "from 25111" saying thats where Im shipping it from. But, I am not shipping it from this location, I am on vacation and shipping it from another zip code. I have already paid for all the shipping cost, will the post office still let me ship the item from the local post office?

What is the best windows xp administration program for monitoring and limiting users at my work place?

am a online sales manager, and I employ 4-5 18-23 year olds to list parts on ebay. The problem is that I cannot get them to stay on track, off instant messenger, off facebook, myspace, etc. Is there a program out there that will allow me to set their computers not to allow myspace, facebook, aim, adultfriend finder, etc. I need a program that blocks aim and yahoo and all programs like that, and restricts address to other websites, while allowing them to do everything else related to ebay and access network folders. Any suggestions would be great.

Update: I dont know how to use ISA server or local security policy, group policy, and content advisor in windwos XP. Is there a website for this that provides step by step tutorials?

I’d prefer just a simple program to automate all this for me. Thanks!
Thanks for the great info, but I need to unrestrict access to the rest of the company. I just need to block 2-3 computers, so I cannot purchase another router. Any other suggestions?

What program will allow me to crop multiple images at once?

I make a lot of auctions on Ebay, Particuarlly for Coins, And i need the frame of the picture i take to fit the coin exactly.

But sometimes i will take anywhere upwards of 10 to 20 images, And having to go through each image, One by one, And crop them is a massively time consuming process.

Is there any program that has an "Autocrop" feature for situations like this? Or a program that will allow me to crop multiple images at once?

Thanks in advance!

Tips For Purchasing Electronics On The Internet

In this day and age virtually everyone seems to shop online; it is as common as drinking a cup of coffee it seems. Ecommerce truly has come a long way over the years, and it is only getting more secure as time goes on. However, I still hear a good deal of stories about people getting ripped off when buying electronics online, especially on eBay.

As far as purchasing electronics from the big boys online, such as bestbuy, newegg.com, and walmart, etc., you are generally pretty darn safe. But a good deal of caution needs to be used when dealing with sites such as craigslist and eBay. But do not let that scare you off, since these 2 sites generally have the best deals to be found on the internet (more so eBay though).

Most people do not bother with craigslist, or even know what it is, so we will just go over eBay in this article (and besides, craigslist does not generally sell many electronics). So anyways, as far as eBay goes, the first thing you will want to look at, is the feedback score of the person you wish to buy from. This is just a simple number listed at the top right section of the auction/product page; you will want that number to be at least 98.8% or higher, otherwise they may not be trustworthy to buy from.

Another big thing to take into consideration is the return policy, especially when dealing with electronics. Many electronics, for example, the popular electronic airsoft guns, have a fairly high chance of being defective. But as long as the product is backed by a reasonable return policy, you should be safe 99% of the time.

Last, but certainly not least, make sure that you completely read the details of the product for sale before you buy it. A lot of the times people who sell on eBay do not mention in the title of their auction, the fact that an item may be broken, or need repair, and have a major flaw or defect. So basically just be sure to read the fine print before you make a purchase. If you follow these 3 important rules of thumb, then chances are you will be completely safe when buying electronics online from eBay.

Is there a software RAID solution for Windows 98?

I have an old 98 box, and a bunch of small hard drives laying around. I want to set them up in a RAID 0 array so I can use the computer as a big backup server. I don’t have a RAID controller, so I looked for a software solution online, but google isn’t any help.

Answer:
While it is possible to setup a RAID in Windows 98, you will most likely run into time consuming stability issues. I posted a link to RAID software below that is compatible, but I just see it causing a lot of headaches mainly by parity data getting out of sync, and you’ll have to rebuild it RAID relatively often. You should be able to pickup a very cheap but authentic copy of Windows 2000 or even better Windows XP on Ebay. I think it would be well worth the money as both of these OSes are designed infintely better for RAID. XP is definetely “lighter” than 2000 so if you’re hardware is a bit old that is probably the better choice. If you’re using on old motherboard and add a RAID PCI Controller Card, there will be a noticeable bottleneck since PCI slots use a shared bus architecture. PCI-E is much better as the slots have independent lanes. I realize that you want to probably work with what you have and keep it cheap, but if you do anything I would get a newer OS. There are other RAID software products at download.com. I couldn’t get give you a good recommendation as I have never used any of them personally. Just read some reviews if you decide to go this route.
