“Includes free Windows 7 upgrade coupon”. Really?
O.K. Go to this link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116674 (Windows Vista Home Premium OEM with free Win 7 upgrade coupon) Now 7 retails (or will retail) for a way higher price (Talking about the OEM). If Newegg gives Vista Home Premium with a free upgrade to seven for $109 isn’t that a good deal? Do you first have to install Vista or use the coupon and give it to Microsoft who sends you a copy of Windows Seven? (Home Premium)
Answer:
Its a pretty good deal. Right now you can pre-order the upgrade for $50 for Home Premium, but thats not going to last very long. 109 is okay for getting both OS’s. Yes you would have to have either vista or Xp install already on your machince for the upgrade to work. Meaning you can’t do a clean install. If you just do a clean install of vista then Windows 7 you should be fine.
