So I have a windows xp netbook (originally had linux but installed windows) and it has a built in webcam…. Is there any program I can download that lets me take pictures with the webcam that has a live view so I can see myself on the screen? I dont need any fancy effects or anything… Thanks =)

Your computer should let you do that. My cousin has a laptop that lets her dp it but since you obviously cant take pictures that means that maybe your computer needs a certain program for your webcam. On my computer particularly I installed this certain program that came with a CD for webcam ( I forgot the name and it isn’t on my computer anymore) you can buy them at stores such as best buy. Ask a worker there about it and they will give you some CD’s for it. Double check though if you really can take pictures on your webcam. You should be able to.
